Host a Workshop

Our workshops are community based and we are always looking for new venues and partnerships in the Mississauga Halton Region. You and your organization can become involved with the Mississauga Halton LHIN Self-Management Program by hosting one of our workshops at your organization or community centre.

The workshop is funded by the Mississauga Halton Local Health Integrated Network (LHIN) so there is no cost to participants or the host site.  It is part of the provincial strategy to prevent and manage chronic diseases. The Mississauga Halton Self-Management Program provides light snacks, all materials and a faculty member to deliver the training.  

Hosting a workshop requires:

• Free space that is accessible and accommodates up to 18 people 
• Tables, chairs and flip chart stands
• Convenient parking, nearby transit is helpful
